A white wine based on Viognier, elegant and very balanced, which well
reflects the characteristics of the variety and its terroir. Fresh fruit, white flowers and some peach on the palate and aftertaste
After 30 years of winemaking, a new era begins in 2005 with the planting of four grape varieties. A year later, the first grapes were vinified in the winery, three references that remain: Chardonnay, Viognier and 5ª of Lagar Novo. The Arinto and the Marsanne joined them later.
Quinta do Lagar Novo has more than 200 vines, on 5ha of vineyards, led by Luis de Carvalho, who counts on the efforts of his sons Tiago, João and Helena.
At Quinta do Lagar Novo five white wines are now produced, of great oenological value, from the Chardonnay varieties (high quality and charisma), Viognier (originality and elegance), Arinto (aromatic and rich in acidity) to the Marsanne (full taste and body anointing).
