A garnet-red wine. An intense fruity aroma of red cherries and soft and full of round ripe tannins in the mouth. The finish is young and refreshing. The lightest wine from Cartuxa, simple and fruity, with attractive tannins. Ready to drink now.
The first wines were produced in 1992. The line of EA wines consists of 4 different wines, a white, rosé, a red and a red reserve. Also a white and red BIO wine were added to the range. The initials EA stand for Eugenio de Almeida, the founder of the wine house Cartuxa.
