It reflects the whole aromatic depth of the Chardonnay grape, but with a strong influence from the Terroir do Freixo. It is a rich and expressive wine, of a beautiful and golden color. The notes of minerality are strikingly present but in perfect harmony with the fresh tropical fruit and the discrete toast of the wood. On the palate this white wine is wide, with flavors of white peach, pineapple, quince and a buttery aftertaste. Its optimal acidity balances everything in the long aftertaste

A white wine with a great culinary diversity. It accompanies both simple dishes with fresh fish, salads and white meat, also Oriental gastronomy with a strong aromatic intensity as well as the stews of the Mediterranean areas. Also delicious with sushi

 

Grapes: 100% Chardonnay

Planted in a precise terroir in the Herdade do Freixo, where the fresh wind of the Serra d'Ossa predominates. Here the grapes are selected and harvested in the early hours of the day. The grapes are completely de-stoned and the must fermented in French oak barrels followed by bâtonnage for 4 months on fine lees. After the batch is selected, the wine is filtered and bottled young to express the character of the Chardonnay grape variety.
