Bairrada - Quinta dos Abibes

With 10 hectares of land, including 7 hectares of vineyards, Quinta dos Abibes is located at the foot of the Serra do Buçaco, the parish of Aguim, in the municipality of Anadia.

Ancient references in the archives of an existing wine production in the 18th century have been found in this Quinta. The foothills on the hill northwest of the Buçaco Mountains, from where the Cruz Alta can be seen, tell a centuries-old history of wine.

And that is where, since 2003, ten hectares of land, of which 7 hectares of vineyard, which has long been abandoned and neglected, after thorough drainage and tillage followed by planting the vineyard, "QUINTA DOS ABIBES" has arisen. Baga, Touriga Nacional and Arinto, exclusively Portuguese varieties, form the main structure of this vineyard, designed with the aim of producing sparkling wines and other wines of superior quality and for which Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc were planted
