Excellent wine for hearty spiced meals with red grilled or roast meat, lamb and game dishes
Grapes: Syrah 30%, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) 30%, Touriga National 30%, Alicante Bouchet 10%
The ripe grapes undergo a 24-hour cold maceration and fermentation in large, temperature-controlled vats. This is followed by another 15 days of peel soaking. Finally, the wine matures for 8 months in French and American oak barrels.
