Grandalhão aka Big Boy is a red wine of intense color, with notes of red fruit, nuts and herbs with a coherent and harmonious persistence in the mouth. Really nicely polished. Long and lingering finish. With an approaching complexity. Layers of sweet red fruit, fines spices. Slight hint of tobacco. Really well-made, I enjoy it tremendously right now. It feels like it is already a quite stable wine that should have a long life ahead of it.

Delicious with meat dishes such as fondue, spicy dishes (blue) cheese and venison

Grapes: Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional

Matured in French and American oak barrels. The Quinta Lobo da Estrela vineyard has old vines of about 40 years old
