Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz
The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September, carefully selected and transported in small boxes weighing 18 kg, followed by a second selection on arrival at the winery. The grapes are completely destemmed and a small granite "lagares" macerated at low temperature for 24 hours, followed by an alcoholic fermentation of about 15 days. After the fermentation, the wine is poured into French oak barrels - which were previously used for the fermentation of white wine - where it gets a rest period of 9 months
