We always realized that the Beira Interior had a characteristic in reds that pushes us towards spices and cocoa, the wines have nuances that remind us of wood, even though they have not gone through the barrel, and this Touriga is that reflection, it has the objective of understanding the variety without any make-up, it has no contact with the wood and age has revealed itself in a very positive way.
Intense ruby color, clean and simple nose with notes of fruit and spices, in the mouth it balances alcohol with acidity, remaining smooth and prolonged.
Food pairing
A delightful, versatile wine. Its luscious fruit profile goes very well with roasted and grilled meats, the lack of oak tannins makes it great for lighter dishes such as charcuterie and cheese, but also nice with strong flavors, such as in Southeast Asian dishes.
Grapes: 100% Touriga Nacional
The selection of a plot for the choice of grapes of the Touriga Nacional variety was the first step in the elaboration of this monovariety, which fermented very slowly at low temperatures of 26ºC. The maceration process was long but smooth in technique, followed by aging of in stainless steel, resulting in a distinctive wine, full of color and noble in its bouquet.
