Together with his daughter, Maria, Alvaro Castro - one of Portugal's most respected wineries - cultivates with great care and respect, beautiful indigenous grape varieties. which makes it possible to make elegant, fine and balanced wines. This delicious red wine is a blend of old vines with an average age of 60 years. An intense and fine aroma with notes of ripe red fruit and wood. Tannins well integrated weave, long, elegant and extremely attractive finish

Food-Pairing

This wine accompanies red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.

Grapes: Touriga Nacional (30%), Jaen (25%), Alfrocheiro (25%) & Tinta Roriz (20%)

Vines are planed on granite with lines of clay and sand soils. After the manual harvest, the grapes ferment in a stainless steel mill with controlled temperature (28º to 31º C). Aged for 14 months in 2nd year allier oak barrels.
