Very deep color, very rich and concentrated
in the aromas. Red fruit tones combined with shades of vanilla, well integrated in a sturdy and elegant structure. Complex and long aftertaste. A red wine with a long storage potential
Food pairing
The Catarina Tinto is the ideal wine to be shared at the table or in the evening. Very versatile at the gastronomic level
and can be combined with a huge variety of dishes, such as tapas, pastas, red and white meat dishes
Grapes: 60% Castelão & 40% Alicante Bouschet
The two varieties were vinified separately. 50% of the wine has aged 6 months in new French oak barrels. Castelão and Alicante Bouschet find the ideal terroir in the low-production vineyards of Palmela sandy soil, for rich, full, spicy and complex wines
