A red wine from 2017 elaborated with the noblest grape of the Dão region, the Touriga Nacional. It is the fruit of grapes from the sub-region of Silgueiros and results from a mild winemaking, with the minimum possible intervention. It is a wine marked by a lot of color and aromatically rich, showing the splendor of the caste with floral notes, red fruits and forest. Good freshness of the mouth, with firm tannins, very good balance of acidity and end aftertaste
Jardim de Granito is produced on the slopes of Silgueiros, in soils of granite origin, where the vineyard is surrounded by woods of oaks and pine trees. The wines are designed to express the elegance and the gastronomic aptitude of the region. Maria Rita, project manager, graduated in Agronomic Engineering at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia in Lisbon, did several internships in well-known houses such as 'Esporão' and 'Sogrape'. Then a master's degree in wine marketing at the University of Paris.
Food pairing
Fine with smoked duck breast, pork roulade from the oven and mature cheeses. Pork with basmati rice and pumpkin puree, couscous with breaded chicken in sesame seeds or roast chicken with fries.
