Grapes: 100% Alvarinho
The Alvarinho, called Albariño in Spain, is a white grape variety. In the region of Vinho Verde, the grape is the most important, but also in Rias Baixas (Galicia) good wines are produced. The grape has a thick skin and a reasonable yield. The alcohol content of the wines is quite high. The wines have fruity aromas where apple usually has the upper hand. The grape likes a soil of slate or granite
Grapes come from vineyards along the River Minho, at low altitudes, with a high content of pebbles in the soil. All grapes are deprived and receive a short maceration, followed by a long fermentation at low temperatures of 14 to 18ºC in stainless steel tanks. Finally, the wine ages for 3 months on its lees with periodic battonages.

92/100 - Wine Enthusiast Tasted: Sep 2024
This floral wine, with its jasmine and bitter orange aromas, is ripe and full of rich potential. It is fresh with density and an edge of structure from the skin contact during fermentation. Drink from 2025.
