Beautifully scented dry white wine with floral nuances and ripe yellow fruit. The taste is fresh, round and balanced; the aftertaste is persistent. This is simply fantastic. Bone dry, flint, stone fruit and sharp mineral.
Dão, one of the most classic wine regions in Portugal, has entered a new phase. Young winemakers have broken with the drying, often oxidized style of the previous generation and are now making elegant, world-class wines on the characteristic granite bottom of the Dão
Food-Pairing
Delicious with fish, Bouillabaisse, grilled fresh fish, white meat, pasta with swordfish, gamberetti marinati or pizza bianca (a pizza without tomato sauce), and as an aperitif
Grapes: Encruzado 100%
The vines are forty-five years old and give a low yield with concentrated grapes. They ferment in steel tanks, but the wine then ripens in small used casks of French oak.
