"Ginginha" is a traditional Portuguese liqueur that can be drunk in Lisbon and other places such as Óbidos and Alcobaça. Made with alcohol and obtained by macerating the ginja fruit, a fruit that is very similar in appearance and taste to the cherry. Only natural products are used in its production, without artificial preservatives. This liqueur is a mix of sweet and bitter with a hint of cinnamon. Its sweetness makes it very easy to drink. It is usually served in small glasses called shots and should be drunk in one go. You can choose to drink it with or without ice in the glass.
