   In 2001 the adventure of Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges began. This young couple initially had no vineyards or wine, but a common dream, a personal project to which they dedicated themselves body and soul 

The name Wine & Soul is the result of their passion and total commitment to wine. From the very beginning, this company's work focuses on a tireless search for exceptional vineyards in the Pinhão Valley, the historic heart of Porto's great wines, and giving them a voice. The fruits of their dedication, representing the exceptional terroir of the Douro region, are praised both nationally and internationally for their charm and character. 
 
The wines of Wine & Soul are living proof that the traditional vineyards from which the great Vintage port wines originated can also produce great Douro silent wines.
