Barros Colheita 1983 Port
Amber colored port wine. In the nose a rich aroma of dried fruit and spices. Soft and creamy in the mouth. Very well developed and a beautiful structure. Harmonious of taste and a lasting finish
Colheita's are seen as Tawny's of very high quality. Comes from a single harvest and has spent at least 7 years in French oak barrels of approximately 550 liters.
Colheita port wine represents less than 1% of the total annual production of port. Like Vintage, a Colheita port is only released when the best conditions are met and after approval of the IDVP (Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e do Porto)

certains porto de Colheita (d'une seule récolte), âgés d'au moins 7 ans en fûts, peuvent développer après un certain temps un petit peu de sédiment dans la bouteille, c'est normal. Donc, vous devez décanter ce port avant de boire
