Moscatel is an ideal aperitif and dessert wine goes well with almost any type of Portuguese almond, walnut, orange and egg-based desserts, including pudim, the Portuguese version of flan, as well as chocolate, coffee and hazelnut-based desserts. Perfect with fresh cream desserts with fruit and creamy cheese. Delicious in cocktails with melon, strawberries, apricots or the Portal Tonic, sometimes called Moschito, Mosquinta, with ½ Moscatel, ½ tonic, mint, lime and ice cream
