The origins of ART.TERRA olive oil lie in an olive grove planted in 2016, where Casa Relvas recovered some native varieties “in search of a balance between tradition and modernity”. Today, the Alentejo producer has 300 hectares of olive groves on its farms in Redondo and Vidigueira.
This new olive oil from Casa Relvas joins the ART.TERRA family, in which each product is born from the continuous search for the maximum expression of a terroir, recovering ancestral cultivation and production methods. Under the ART.TERRA brand, in addition to the Amphora, Curtimenta and Biológico wines, we now have this extra virgin olive oil that we believe perfectly combines the essence of the Alentejo agricultural tradition with contemporary authenticity”, says Alexandre Relvas, CEO of Relvas House.
In terms of taste impressions, the producer says that ART.TERRA Extra Virgin Olive Oil “exhibits aromas of ripe fruit, and fresher notes of green olive, tomato leaf and banana, with a fresh palate and a dried fruit aftertaste.”
