Colheita is a port wine of only one year and a maturation of at least 7 years in small barrels. This one tastes like soft, ripe fruit with a layer of nuts and spices. Pale, tawny (yellow-brown), with aromas of walnut, toasted sesame and buttery toffee. Wonderfully scented and harmonious in mouth with flavors of ripe fruit, figs and honey with a long nutty aftertaste and hints of coffee. Very well integrated and wonderfully complex through the years of aging
