Ramos Pinto White Port Lagrima
Golden yellow color. Freshness is at the center of the tasting of this pale Porto that delivers fragrances of hawthorn and acacia mixed with scents of coriander and peppermint. In mouth, it demonstrates a pleasant fruity taste. Its freshness, smoothing its full-bodied side, elaborates a particularly well-balanced Porto.
Ramos Pinto Lagrima White Port being the sweetest of all Port wines with around 140 grams of sugar per liter the grapes need to be those who are harvested from the regions where a high degree of ripeness is achieved. They are subjected to intense skin maceration in accordance with the old Port wine tradition.
Food pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, it goes very well with starters, foie gras, grilled squid salad in a vinaigrette dressing, or as dessert wine.

A most careful selection of wines are used for the blend and on average have been aged in our cellars in oak barrels for 3 years.
The terroir is spread across 40000 hectares, the vineyards lay on both banks of the Douro river which crosses the country east to west up to the city of Porto. Located on hillsides, the vineyards lay on granitic soils.
