Quinta dos Carvalhais Colheita Branco is a citrus-yellow white wine with greenish hints. A young and fresh aroma with notes of lemon and lime, nuances of white fruit and light vegetable notes. on the palate with volume, freshness and structure and a long, juicy finish.

This delicious white wine is an excellent aperitif, and it accompanies excellent smoked and full-bodied fish dishes

Grapes: 53% Encruzado, 47% Gouveio

After pressing, the must was subjected to static decantation. 20% of Encruzado was fermented in used French oak barrels of 225 and 500L, the rest remained in the stainless steel tank. Gouveio was fermented in a stainless steel tank. Fermentation took place at 18ºC for a period of approximately 20 days. Of this wine, 20% Encruzado and Gouveio matured for about 6 months in barrels of 225 and 500L French oak. The remaining part of the batch is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.

Store & Serve

Store in a cool, dry place. Serve between 9ºC-11ºC. Thanks to the natural acidity of the Encruzado & Gouveio, this wine has a great aging potential and thus guarantees the wine a long aging potential
