A compact deep garnet colored red wine with a very attractive and fruity aroma of ripe black blackberries, sour cherries and ripe plums, complemented with a hint of balsamic, smoked and subtle tertiary hints of almond and black chocolate. In the mouth there is a play of elegance, volume and structure, with concentrated fruit and herbs in the long and impressive finish. A wine with excellent potential for further evolution in the bottle, but can already be drunk now

Grapes: 100% Alicante Bouschet

Grapes come from about 20 year old vines planted on a clay and granite soil. Harvested manually in 15 kg boxes, followed by a manual selection of the grapes in the wine cellar. The grapes were carefully destemmed without damaging them, followed by a cold maceration for about 48 hours. Fermentation in 1,500 liter French oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 25 °C. The malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak barrels on which it then aged for more than 36 months.
