This organic wine has a deep ruby red color, an aroma of raspberries and juicy black currants, mint and white flowers. it is a powerful, full-bodied red wine with ripe and soft tannins and a nice, fresh aftertaste.
The grapes harvested by hand come from a small certified organic plot of slate. This wine is aged in the "sur lie" barrel for 6 months. If you like Syrah Rhône red wines such as, Crozes-Hermitage & Vacqueyras then you are a fan of this wine and that of the first minute. A great addition to a slow but surely growing range of organic Portuguese wines

Grapes: 40% Alicante Bouschet, 40% Touriga Nacional, 20% Syrah
Hand harvested. Total Destemming. Maceration before fermentation during 48h. Fermentation with controlled temperature (22ºC-28ºC) in open vats (lagares) with automatic pigeurs. Malolatic Fermentation stainless steel tanks. Aged in vat 'sur lie' for 6 months.
