The Periquita Tinto VR red wine comes from the traditional wine house of Jose Maria da Fonseca. This certified company owns around 650 hectares of vineyards and is located in Azeitao, on the Setubal Peninsula. In this region mainly dry wines are produced, also this Periquita Tinto VR.

Periquita, the oldest wine brand in Portugal, is a must for all lovers of this region. Portuguese wine house Jose Maria da Fonseca has been producing this quality wine for more than 150 years. The composition of the used grape varieties Castelao, Trincadeira & Aragonez gives the wine a delicious complexity. You can taste licorice, red berries, fir needles, juniper and a hint of cinnamon. The deep ruby red wine her purple hues fascinates the eye prior to the enjoyment of drinking this wine.
