Rich first taste of ripe red and black fruits with a moderate body and tannins and hints of black pepper, smoke and mint. The soft and long aftertaste is characteristic for the Baga grape and provides a fresh touch.
Quinta da Vacariça is a project by François Chasans in Tamengos (Anadia). The vineyard does not exceed 2 hectares and has Baga as the favorite variety. It was created with the intention of producing excellent Bairrada wines, choosing innovative methods that, in combination with the traditional methods, form a unique product in this region. Respect for the vineyard and for nature are the main points of Quinta da Vacariça's activity. The ideology of Quinta da Vacariça is not volume, but that of producing wines of excellent quality.
