A Tawny port gets its rusty tint as a result of the time spent in the barrel, which oxidises the previously deep-red fortified wine. This process also softens flavors and gives a nutty character. Roasted nuts clearly come to the fore, also some honey, together with nuances of candied orange. The acid balance is perfect, sweet but not sticky and wonderfully complex. A beautiful, rounded Tawny with a firm body. Wide and rich in structure.

Cool served as an aperitif with dried fruits. Also ideal for desserts made from chocolate, fresh fruit, red and wild fruits as well as strong cheeses and foie gras a delicacy
