A delicious 20 year old tawny port with the right tawny red color. Poças is known worldwide for its aged port. A beautiful port that fills your glass with clear aromas of vanilla, citrus and toasted nuts; full-bodied, slightly sweet with a beautiful balance and texture in the finish.
It all started on August 15, 1918, a few months before the armistice, when Manoel Dominques Poças junior decided to set up his own company. Manoel was 30 years old and already had some experience in the business and together with his uncle he founded a company that sold grapes to port shippers. Shortly afterwards, he opened the headquarters in Vila Nova de Gaia, where they are housed to this day.
