This style of wine is usually reffered to as "farmer's wine" with blend on indigenous grape varieties in varying amounts, it's got a ripen nose with floral slightly salty palate. Great sense of freshness and minerality on the palate with slight nuttiness from the short time with oak barrel.
Vitor is one of Portugal’s great young Chefs, and he’s been making his way as a Restauranteur both in Portugal and abroad. After getting the wine bug from Dirk Niepoort, he decided to take matter in his own hands (literally) and craft one of Portugal’s craking new explorations of the Alentejo’s Serra de S.Mamede, and in Castelo Rodrigo with his newest Colmeal Wines.
