Charismatic and famous for its freshness and rusticity, Baga marks both a style of wine and the identity of an entire region. This Baga unoaked is from Alentejo, which is unprecedented, and tests the variety further south, where the schist, the sun and the heat have allowed it to mature to other levels. The result... is Baga as we've never tasted it, without ever ceasing to be itself.
A rustic Baga from Alentejo, as it should be, but warmer, with a different level of ripeness. No contact with barrels, which allows us to taste this unique variety in a more southerly region, as we've never seen it before.

A delicious wine with stews, game and lamb. Where the freshness of the berry cuts through the grease.
Grapes : 100% Baga
The vines are cultivated in very poor soils of schist or granitic origin, naturally giving very concentrated grapes.
Manual night harvest. Selection on a sorting table. The grapes are gently crushed and gravity-fed into the vat. Cold pre-maceration. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. 30-day "Cuivason". Aged 12 months in stainless steel.
The grapes are grown under organic production regime, without the use of herbicides, most of which are rainfed, without irrigation. Our vineyards are also all certified within the Alentejo sustainability program.
