This Touriga Nacional from Lemos is a powerful red wine from the Dào. An aroma with a lot of finesse and depth, floral, gooseberry, fresh red berries and some roasted nuts such as tobacco, coconut and a hint of vanilla. Very structured, freshly cool and mineral in the mouth, full of flavor. A red wine that combines power and elegance perfectly
Quinta de Lemos is well hidden in the beautiful Vale do Dão, the oldest wine producing region in Portugal. Located near Viseu, the regional capital, full of charm and with a medieval heart, the Quinta is situated on a plateau of Beira Alta, at an altitude of 340 m. In this green paradise in central Portugal, the Quinta is composed of 25 hectares of vineyard, 3000 olive trees and beehives to produce the best honey.
The granite and sandy soils of the Dão valley are well protected by four large mountains (Serra da Estrela, Serra do Caramulo, Serra do Buçaco and Serra da Nave), shielded from the severe extremes of continental climate and humid Atlantic influences.
