The white port wine does not exist as long as the red port, the first white port wines came on the market in 1935. This white port wine ripens for three years in old barrels where it acquires its tawny honey color, floral aromas of rose petals and white peaches along with some orange peel and almonds. Good for 17,500 bottles per year
