Produced in the northern Monção and Melgaço subregion of Vinho Verde, the wine is rich, full of ripe and soft aromas of apples, mango and other ripe tropical fruit, spicy. The citrus edge that keeps the wine fresh is balanced with the concentration and depth of the flavor.

Ideal with grilled oily fish dishes such as salmon and seafood, oysters or lobster au gratin, roasted white meat dishes such as salad chicken with almonds. Duck & Thon. Also delicious with asparagus in butter sauce

The Alvarinho, called Albariño in Spain, is a white grape variety. In the region of Vinho Verde, the grape is the most important, but also in Rias Baixas (Galicia) good wines are produced. The grape has a thick skin and a reasonable yield. The alcohol content of the wines is quite high. The wines have fruity aromas where apple usually has the upper hand.
