A delicious white wine with a complex aroma of dried apricot, exotic woods and roasted grains. In the mouth it is complex, elegant, harmonious followed by an extremely refined beautiful aftertaste. Drink it, admire it and enjoy it.
Casa de Santar is the most emblematic wine estate in Dão, for its history, size and prestige of its wines. The farm has been owned by the same family for fifteen generations (currently represented by the Countess of Santar, Tereza de Lencastre de Mello) and is now part of the Global Wines group.
Casa de Santar is also the largest winegrowing owner in Dão, with a vineyard of 103 hectares, of which 90 hectares are planted with red grapes and 13 hectares with white grapes. The property's ex-libris, and its hallmark, is the beautiful 18th century mansion, surrounded by beautiful boxwood gardens.
