Only a few winemakers in the world have the opportunity to work with native European vines. In Bairrada there are still some pre-Phyloxera vineyards, which are however becoming more and more sought after as more is known about the potential of these vines. Filipa and William managed to convince an 80-year-old owner, who in turn inherited this at least 130-year-old lot of land from his father, to leave it to the lovable couple.
Although it contains only 12.5% alcohol, it has tremendous density and color intensity. Dense, complex, red to dark red, fruity, spicy, earthy mineral and wild herbs. There's an ethereal lightness and an animated juicy freshness with insanely fine tannins floating above. This wine offers a legendary experience.
