It has a complex and fragrant aroma, in which notes of very ripe yellow fruit predominate, surrounded by a floral touch. Discreet vanilla conveyed by French oak completes the "bouquet" of aromas. In the mouth it surprises with the perfect fusion of aromatic richness and acidity. It is a wine with great structure. Only 3,000 bottles produced.
The wine pays tribute to Leonor de Almeida Lorena e Lencastre (1750-1839), the fourth Marchioness of Alorna, a Portuguese poetess of the 18th century, and one of the most outstanding voices of pre-romanticism in Portugal. With a meticulous literary and scientific culture, an active woman who intervened in political and cultural life, she encouraged the emergence of new aesthetic ideas.
