Quinta da Boavista is one of the most distinctive vineyards of the Douro, an estate indelible with the name of Baron Joseph James Forrester, a leading figure in the history of wine making in this Portuguese premium wine region.

This icon of the Douro region is located on the right bank of the Douro, just west of the sleepy town of Pinhão and endowed with a unique, spectacular view over the river, it is best known for its quality vines, some even a century old planted in slate terraces.
