Salads are popular as a lunch dish, as an appetizer and, especially in summer, as a complete meal.

The hallmark of a salad is its fresh taste. Light, refreshing and dry white wines go well with this.

But beware, because the vinaigrette in the salads can be a bummer.

Raw onions and garlic also make pairing more challenging.

My experience has taught me that dry white wines or a rosé with a high acidity do very well.
