The Meandro (meander) is the 2nd famous wine from Quinta do Meão from the Douro. A wine praised for its good price / quality ratio. The name was not chosen accidentally, but is because the river makes a sharp turn (meander) where the vineyards are located. A wine with an excellent and very lively red color. floral aromas combined with aromas of red berries, spices and cocoa. The tannins are soft and seductive on the palate.
It is a fruity and spicy wine with the true Douro character

Grapes: 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Touriga Franca, 20% Tinta Roriz, 5% Tinta Barroca, 3% Tinto Cão en 2% Sousâo
Grapes are pressed by foot in granite presses. The must is transferred to small, temperature-controlled vinification vats. The varieties are vinified separately. This wine has matured for 14 months in French oak Allier barrels of 225 liters of the second and third year
