Purple colour. Intense aroma with notes of violets and ripe currant from the Touriga Nacional, with spicy hints from the Cabernet and complexity from the ageing in wood. Balanced round body sustained by the floral character and the flavours of ripe black fruits. The aftertaste is intense with excellent persistence.

Delicious with Game dishes, Goatling, Lamb and other well-seasoned meats
Grapes : 65% Touriga Nacional, 35% Alicante Bouschet
Produced with grapes grown exclusively in Charneca soils*, from vineyards with over 35 years old, harvested separately. e maceration was done in cold for 2 days followed by the alcoholic fermentation with a controlled temperature of 23ºC. e varieties were aged separately for 12 months in second year American and French Oak barrels. e final batch is assembled and filtered before bottling.
*In the south of the Tejo River, is the Charneca zone. e Charneca is a dry, flat area marked by poor, sandy soils that force the vines to struggle, and in turn produce more complex fruit. In this zone, higher temperatures compel the grapes to mature faster than in the rest of the Tejo region.
