This delicious red wine from Quinta do Pôpa is ruby red in color. Has aromas of wild berries, coffee supplemented with some floral notes. Is soft in the mouth, has a good acidity and is rich in fruity tannins. A wine with structure, but rather fresh and balanced. It has an elegant, soft and harmonious aftertaste.
Food pairing
Excellent wine with red (grilled) meat and fish dishes, fatty fish, tapas and ripe cheeses. Also an excellent wine as an aperitif with some snacks
Grapes: 40% Tinta Roriz , 40% Touriga Franca, 10% Touriga Nacional, 10% Tinta Barroca
The grapes were received in boxes of 20 kg, later destemmed and crushed. Each
variety was vinied separately and with dierent methods, but always in stainless steel vats. The nal blend was created just after the wines stage (in stainless steel vats)
